How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
When you request to be a patient you will be registered with the ‘Practice’ and not with an
individual Doctor. However you are welcome to consult any of the doctors, but wherever practical you should
remain with the same doctor throughout a course of treatment. Please note that Drs Lang-Sadler, Howard,
Wijeyesekera, Jordan, Kaye, Ashraf and Reeves do not work full time which influences their appointment
availability.
Two Types Of Surgery Are Available
- Surgery By Appointment
Appointments may be made by either calling at the surgery or by telephoning between 8.30am and 6.30pm
Monday to Friday on 0161 748 5559.
Please try to avoid Monday morning (unless the appointment is urgent) as this is our busiest time.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please cancel in good time to allow other patients to be seen.
- Urgent Appointments
A limited number of urgent appointments are available each day. Please ring between 8.30 and 9.30am on the
day, Monday to Friday.

Sick Children
Children will always be seen as soon as possible if brought to the surgery. Please ring first to help the
surgery run smoothly. (This will be quicker than a home visit.)
How Do I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?
If you wish to speak to a GP or practice nurse, please telephone after morning surgery between 11.45am and 12
noon, Monday to Friday. If not available the doctor will ring you back as soon as possible but may be after
evening surgery.
How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?
If you need a home visit, please telephone before 10.00am. This will help the doctors to plan their rounds and
avoid unnecessary delays. Visits are for those who are housebound or too ill to go out. Otherwise, please try to
come to one of the surgeries.
